DJ Audio §var with the phenomenon Goodiepal

From the 1st to 5th of May 2023, SPOR festival launched the phenomenon Goodiepal’s extensive audio file collection DJ Audio §var in collaboration with Movement Radio. An archive that in its entirety lasts 5 days, which Goodiepal has been working on for the past 30 years and which will be completed with the last episode during SPOR festival.

DJ Audio §var is an archive that is both a letterbox and an art critique. Different episodes have different focuses, but overall the archive is a pro- test against social media’s quick, unthought-out answers to questions, and a strong advice to replace small talk with serious and valid answers. Based on the motto that the longer a message travels over time and space, the more important it becomes, Goodiepal answers questions in the archive that were send to him many years ago.

DJ Audio §var is published – and transmitted here – from May 1 to May 5, 2023. Each day from 10 am to 12 am.

 

THE LAST EPISODE

SPOR festival launches the last episode of DJ Audio §var with The Lake during the festival on May 11 at 7pm.

During SPOR festival, USB sticks with DJ Audio §var will be at A-Huset, Institute for X, which enables everyone to transfer the entire audio file collection to their own devices.

 

About Goodiepal

Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester (b. 1974) aka. Goodiepal is a self-taught artist who works in a symbiosis of sound and reflection, keeping distance from the digitalisation that dominates our surroundings. He has been hailed as a phenomenon, has exhibited at the National Gallery of Denmark and in 2010 received the Heinrich Pris, considered the Nobel Prize of non-conformists.
