movement.radio
movement.radio is an international online radio station based in Athens. It explores the cross-cultural interactions, political and theoretical discourses and reflections of movement of people from the Mediterranean and beyond, through a series of commissioned pieces, thematic mixtapes, interviews, DJ sets and more. movement.radio is initiated and owned by the Athens-based cultural center Onassis Stegi, which is one of Greece's most profiled and productive cultural institutions.
SPOR festival has initiated a partnership with Onassis Stegi and will function as Danish curator of the station in 2022/23. During two years SPOR festival will present a number of artists with relation to the Danish music and art scene. The artists will represent a diverse expression of genres, art forms and nationalities and are invited to contribute with different formats; ‘on-air’, mixtapes on demand, new scores etc.
